How do you capture video while playing gw2? Never did it before and don't know where to look.

I own DXtory (http://exkode.com/home-en.html) , but I never EVER got it to work... I reckon it's because of how shit my laptop is. So I tried OBS. (https://obsproject.com/) I know it's primarily for streaming, but it works as a local recording too. However OBS wouldn't work on my main GW2 client either, the screen would just freeze up. Howeverrr, OBS worked on the BETA client while I was recording my Stress Test experience, only on a very low resolution though. I'm gonna try again during the beta tests this weekend to see if I can turn the resolution up a notch.

OBS is what I've used for years, works pretty well and it's free.

OBS would be your best bet for a good free capture program with the added ability to streams to twitch or youtube. If you have a compatible GPU with the drivers required (Nvidia- GeForce Experience or Amd- AMD Catalyst Software) is a better choice as you don't take the hit to your resources as the video is taken out of your video memory buffer so don't have the extra processor running on your pc making it work harder.

OBS works pretty well, but I'm not satisfied of quality 1920x1080 with flv codec. Will try other options. But my next question is what the most easiest video redactor just to cut some part from a video? I recorded fight with a fow and want to share my first video ^_^
