Is it true that all HoT owners have got a free shared slot?

And one more question: how does it work:

In order to achieve more balanced team sizes in World vs. World, most worlds will be linked in WvW with one other world, creating a combined world with a boosted population.

2 worlds fight on 1 side in an alliance? Is this "linking" fixed or random every match? Does wvw worth playing now at all?

Yes, to the original question about shared inv slot. You get a level 80 character boost in the shared inv slot, and you can only use the slot after you use the boost.

As for WvW, it depends on which server you play on, and they mentioned that this "linking" will last for about 3 months. We got matched with Ruins of Surmia. I think apart from the fact that we get a few more from RoS, a lot of Gandarans have kinda came back and see what all this is.

Apart from that, Alpine borderland came back yesterday. And there are now WvW reward tracks (work exactly like the PvP reward tracks, but with an extra Triumphant Armor set track)

I haven't played much these 2 weeks (Uni deadlines in a week), I can't say much about whether it's worth playing, but I think it is. With the reward tracks, rewards for WvW is better.

I like some changes, but I completely dislike this "linking" -- too many negative sides for both host and guest servers. We are lucky to have RoS though. This is empty server, so they won't make an issue. And I really liked the old RoS. Anyway, hopefully I will be online tomorrow and see what wvw looks like now.

I'm still not sure about the "linking", but we aren't doing too bad, and I hope the initial hostility against both servers for those that got linked has passed. (I hear FSP didn't like Underworld :/)
