Hello Gankers, I've tried to make this post happy as the news that I am going to be laying on you guys is not the best. A few of you may know that my health has not be great recently and I have been going to the hospital 2 times or more a week. Long story short I got my results back today and I have the early stages of bowel cancer (insert dramatic music here). All things aside they have caught it extremely early so I'll be here for many years to come, but I will be going into surgery at 4:00AM Thursday 10th. The aim is to remove as much of the bad stuff as possible to prevent me from having to go on chemotheropy. I should be back into action by the evening or Friday morning but will be a bit soar. Over the next couple months I'll be having constant check ups to make sure the surgery was successful but they said it is a routine surgery and has a very high success rate. Just thought I should let all of you guys knows that for the next couple of weeks I will be very low on energy so do not expect much out of me. Rugi \o/

I was going to post an update yesterday but got lazy. So on Friday 18th I went in to see the specialists to determine whether or not the operation was a success. Long story short the operations was a relative success as they managed to remove 95%+ of the cancerous cells. The problem is that because they have been agitated the cells in the operations (which is common), they are fighting back and being more aggressive so they have recommended that a short stint of chemo (2 months give or take) is the safest bet. So on monday and go in for my first of two-three cycles. (Explanation of chemo cycle: Chemotherapy is typically given in cycles, which is a treatment followed by a period of rest. A cycle can last one or more days, but is usually one, two, three or four weeks long. A course of chemotherapy is comprised of multiple cycles. Each course is different, but generally consists of two to six cycles. The actual administration of the chemotherapy drugs may take minutes to several hours, depending on the drug or drugs given. I just hope I don't lose my hair or my mighty beard
