We've had our Guild Hall for a week or so now and we've made tremendous progress. First up I'd like to say thank you to everyone who is donating items, it's making things a lot easier for us. Now if you check the guild message of the day in game, you should note I have a "Guild Hall Status" piece at the start. It was designed to pass some basic information about the hall to all the guild and I think it's doing the job. However, it's become evident we could do more and provide more information for everyone. With that in mind, this thread will be an up to date thread with information on, previous upgrades, upcoming upgrades, materials needed, etc. It should allow you to be more informed on the Guild Hall and it's upgrades. Upgrade PrioritiesTo give you an idea behind the thinking of each upgrade so far and upcoming ones I wanted to explain what priorities have been set for upgrades. Our first priority is to upgrade the Mine Capacity and Speed whenever it is possible. The mine is the key to upgrading the rest of the Guild Hall, the more Aetherium we can store and the faster it comes in means we'll get more frequent upgrades down the line. Our secondary priority right now is the PvP Arena, we know so many Guildies want the arena and as soon as we've got the materials we'll get it made. Our third priority is the Guild Decoration trader, again another popular upgrade. It's in the same boat as the Arena, as soon as we get the materials we'll look to getting it done. Beyond this it'll be most affordable upgrades, ones we have the materials for.Key Materials We Need (At this time) Charged Quartz Crystals - We have enough for the Arena now, however we will need a lot more down the line. So keep doing your daily Charged Quartz
Piles Of Coarse Sand and Flax Seeds - Both are needed to craft items for the Guild Decorator vendor, I have the rest of the components needed to craft the items, I'm just very low on the Coarse Sand and Flax Seeds. If you can't find myself in game, please consider placing the materials in the Guild Bank.

In the spreadsheet I keep information about all the available upgrades to us based on Guild Level, it also has information on Aetherium, Honor and additional materials, along with a quick description of the upgrade. Hopefully it's informative, and I'll be updating it as I update this.
Want to help? Check the Treasury regularly, donate the materials needed. Additional materials not listed in the Treasury are needed to craft certain items, feel free to ask about it. If you are interested in a particular upgrade, feel free to ask myself and I'll be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
Hopefully everything here is clear and this thread gives you plenty of information about the Guild Hall upgrades.

First up, I'd like to say a big thanks again to all those who are donating materials to the Guild Treasury. Since I created the initial post, we've got the PvP Arena up and running and you can place some basic walls inside,we have a market with a crappy Commendation vendor, the War Room is up and we can now claim camps in WvW, we can now get 24 hour buffs for Critical Harvesting and Map Bonuses, finally today we got a Guild Portal allowing us to easily travel to Guild Mission locations. We've managed to get a lot upgrades in the past 9-10 days and we have materials ready for many more upgrades which is awesome.

There are some materials we're likely to need for future upgrades.
Flax Seeds for Linseed Oil, Coarse Sand for Extra Coarse Sandpaper, both of those are needed for that dreaded Decorations Merchant. Mithril Ingots, Elder Wood Planks, Globs of Ectoplasm. We need literally thousands of each of those materials. Cured Thick Leather Squares are also another common material we need a lot of.
Upgrade priorities haven't changed much, Mine will always be first if we have the materials, and we're slowly working towards that decorations trader. Cooler PvP Arena upgrades will also have a focus, like the Green Team, Ring Out Barrier and Free For All upgrades, most of the Arena upgrades will be done as and when the materials comes in for them.
As before if you have any questions feel free to ask here or find me in game. Keep checking the treasury and the guild message of the day, I update the message whenever we complete an upgrade, it's a good indication for knowing if the treasury has received an update.

11 days since the last update. Thanks again to those of you donating materials, we're doing a great job of staying ahead of upgrades so we have many options to us. We got our Mine to Tier 2 and it's a bit deeper now, we also have Tier 3 Aetherium Rate and Capacity, so we can store upto 5000 and generate 1 every 30 seconds. In the War Room we now have access to the Chilling Fog tactic, one for the scribes to watch out for. The market finally saw our Decorations Trader arrive, the tavern was a little quiet. In the Workshop we now have access to 3 new Plant based nodes. Finally in our arena we have a Ring Out Barrier, the Green team and Vortex Traps available. Whilst this might not seem like much, the Mine upgrades took some time to get done (most were 2 day waits on Aetherium).

There are some materials we're likely to need for future upgrades.
Flax Seeds/Linseed Oil - Workshop Tier 2 requires.... 400 LINSEED OIL. Yeah... Sheets of Rough Paper and Sheets of Coarse Paper - Lots of the WvW Tactics require these materials to unlock the upgrades. Elder Wood Planks - We need 4350 of these to unlock the upgrades we have available, we're currently on sub 700. And most upgrades are taking hundred away.
Upgrade priorities. Mine Capacity 4 is close on the required materials and will likely get done when the materials are collected. Market Restoration 2 is next up to be done, so expect the market to look a little different in a day or so. Tower Claiming for WvW is likely to be done soon as well.

Update #3Little bit quicker with the update this time around. But I do have, a lot more info on ALL the remaining upgrades for our guild hall. A new resource became available today which allows me to track our guild hall and it's upgrades online outside of the game. It also provides a HUGE list of all the materials we need as a guild to complete ALL the remaining upgrades. This was something that been requested a few times by Gankers. And in true GANK fashion, I have set up... a spreadsheet.

Some highlights, if we go on the TP and buy everything we can it would cost at least 13000 gold to buy. We need 81443 total items, 140 different items. I am going to try my best to keep track of items sat in the treasury and in the guild bank. I'll also try to update this along with the other guild upgrade sheet, which I'll combine into the one document.
In regular update news, upgrade priorities, we shifted the focus to WvW upgrades this week, getting a few auras complete, tower claiming and some Scribable WvW tactics and of course finished restoration of the War Room. Priorities this week, likely to stay similar where we can afford it, Rough Paper is a costly material to make and every WvW scribing upgrade requires them!
In the Mine, nothing happened, Aetherium Cap and Rate 4 are both available now and we're just waiting on materials. The market, PvP Arena and Tavern were all quiet also. The Workshop received 1 upgrade, Synthesis Output 1, which allows you to mine a little more from Guild harvesting nodes.

A couple of weeks since the last update. We're still doing an amazing job of constantly upgrading the hall, we've had next to no wasted Aetherium generation time on upgrades. Again, a big thanks to those who are donating to the treasury, or sending myself or Rugi crafting materials to make items with.
First thing I would like to mention, the spreadsheets I've created before and recently have been merged into one google document. I've also added 2 new sheets, Scribe Quotes and Common Material Costs. I have also made a few quality of life choices for the sheets, hopefully it will make reading the sheets and information easier. Regarding the 2 new sheets, I have been leveling up the new crafting profession Scribing (Don't do it yourself unless you're sitting on a spare 10000 gold.) As of writing this I'm at 270 in the profession. It allows me to create some cool stuff for the guild, mostly overpriced decorations, but it also allows me to create WvW Tactics. With that in mind I felt it would be informative to the guild if I let you know how much something would cost to buy the materials from scratch and for me to make it. The Scribing Quotes sheet does that, there are no service fees included in the costs (not that I charge), this is just Trading Post Buy it now prices for the materials required. To also make my life easier I created a 2nd sheet with common materials I need to craft Scribing items. I do also try to update the costs table to keep prices accurate. Hopefully you find some interesting information on costs, I can also provide quotes for anything scribing, as long as I can make it. As I'm aware you can't see anything I can make specifically I took some screenshots of the Guild Decorations crafting list, if any of the items takes your interest let me know and I can come up with a quote. On to the status of the hall itself, in the PvP Arena we sneaked in the Weakness Turrets upgrade. The workshop saw some action, we now have the Critical Crafting Enhancement buff available, The Ore Synthesizer is now Tier 2, that means it can now drop Silver and Iron ores and we unlocked Synthesis Output 1, this allows you mine more from the Synthesizers, currently it is an extra hit on a Mining Node. The Tavern was quiet as always but we do have the materials there when other priorities are a bit distant. The War Room saw a fair few upgrades, we can now claim Keeps in WvW, we are up to Tier 4 of the Objective Aura, which gives +100 power in and around claimed objectives. Turtle Banners are now available and I actually crafted a bunch, so those with claiming/tactivation rights feel free to give one a go. In the Mine we managed to complete Tier 4 Aetherium Capacity, we can now hold 10000, that buys us a lot of time for future upgrades. Finally, the Market. We completed the visual restoration of the place, and also upgraded out Guild Commendation Trader to Tier 2, the trader now has a 2nd tab with "crafting materials". The new tab is much like the first one, it has 3 random items that cost 1 commendation each. I've seen Obsidian Shards often, some "Crafting Bags" and the occasional Ascended Weapon recipe. Key materials we're likely to need, ELDER WOOD ELDER WOOD ELDER WOOD, flax seeds, coarse sand. Seriously, we need elder wood. Oh and Star asked me to request 30 Oregano Leaves to complete an upgrade material she is crafting.

Purchased from discipline-appropriate master craftsmen. Just been looking at the War Room to see what we need for the next claiming aura (7th out of 8) so that we can get closer to the +5 supply that we need and want. To be able to progress to the next stage we need to get the 'Claiming Stonemist' upgrade which requires 10 Superior Runes of Holding. But this upgrade costs 15,000 Aetherium which means that we will have to upgrade our mine storage one more time.The problem is that we need 12 Superior Runes of Holding for the mine upgrade which is 120 gold. So in total that is 220 Gold in Runes. If we can spread the cost out of this then that would be great, I have already purchased 2 so that leave 20 left to get. You will be able to deposit them into the treasury where is will show you how many we still need. Hopefully we can get this done and I hope all you guys and girls have a merry christmas

2015 - A ReportWith it being quite literally the last day of 2015 it seems like a good time to give you guys some information on the Guild Hall. TL:DR Version - Our GH is doing great! We're ahead of the curve, but we will need Superior Runes of Holding and more Elder Wood, Flax and Sand to keep going. Now the long version.Current StatusOur Guild is level 38, and after speaking to people with other active guilds we seem to be ahead of the average when it comes to Guild Levels. We're about 4 Guild Hall upgrades from Level 40 and at that point we won't unlock anything "new" in terms of Guild Hall upgrades. Recently, Rugi and myself have been pushing through lots of smaller upgrades to push the Guild XP up, so the PvP Arena now has a decent amount of Condi turrets available, our War Room got a few upgrades done and our Guild Commendation Trader is now Tier 4. Once we hit level 40 there won't be as much of a focus to just get any upgrade done if we have the materials.What's coming up immediately?There's a couple of smaller upgrades I have picked out ready to go for us to hit level 40, so expect Guild Hall Music, Mini Merchant Tier 2, Commendation Trader Tier 5 and Arena : Knockback Turrets to be done within the next week. That should get us to level 40 as a guild.What do we need?So there a few nasty upgrades that require large amounts of expensive materials. As Rugi said in the previous post SUPERIOR RUNES OF HOLDING - Currently our treasury is asking for 22, and they're the main material roadblocking 2 important upgrades for us, for us to continue improving our WvW Aura we need to unlock Claiming of Stonemist Castle, this requires 10 Superior Runes by itself. However, it is a 15000 Aetherium upgrade, our current Aetherium Cap is 10000, which means, we need to unlock Aetherium Capacity 5. This upgrade requires an additional 12 Superior Runes of Holding. So in total we'll need at least 22 to get to that point, but they're 10 GOLD EACH. Not cheap I know, but we're not asking for 1 person to buy all of them, however if you do have a spare 10 gold you want to throw the guilds way consider buying 1 of these at a crafting master. As of writing this we're sitting on 4 Superior Runes.So there's another couple of nasty upgrades in terms of expensive materials. Workshop Tier 2, it gates us from the rest of the workshop upgrades, all 11 of them. Which would allow us to upgrade all those nice Synthesizers. However the upgrade requires, 400 Linseed oil. Now each linseed oil can be bought on the TP for between 60 to 70s. That's 260g worth of Linseed Oil. However if you're sitting on Flax Seeds we can craft some from that, it's 20 seeds per oil, so we'll need 8000 seeds to complete the Workshop upgrade. However, as of writing this we are currently at 141 Linseed Oil. An easy way to contribute to this would be to donate flax seeds to myself or Rugi who can craft them into Linseed Oils.Coarse Sand, in the Market the Tier 2 Guild Hall decorations merchant requires 200 Sheets Of Extra Coarse Sandpaper, these require 10 coarse sand per sheet. Coarse Sand is also used in the crafting of Glass Mugs, which we need 300 of to unlock a completed Tavern and the 7 upgrades behind it.As always, Elder Wood, we're always low, pretty much every upgrade uses it, sending some elder wood logs our way will always be useful.Other InfoI have got my scribing up to level 350 now.
