Kal Stormseeker - Kal is a contraction from the Dragon Language (Elder Scrolls) for Champion (Kaal). This was originally the name I chose for Elder Scrolls Online, when John, Paul and I were playing the Beta, and decided to leave it due to monthly payments for Guild Wars 2. :3 Stormseeker is a Magic the Gathering card, and also represents the fact that I really love documentaries about weather and would love to go stormchasing one day.
Aira Myon - Aira was my first Asura character, and the name means "of the wind", named partially due to the fact that whenever she makes explosives (cos engineer), people vanish like the wind (may have been responsible for a blast that exiled the Myons out of Rata Sum when she was a progeny, and why they now live with Kal in his posh mansion in DR). The Myon part has 2 meanings, the first is that I thought asura looked alot like cats when i first started, and this was a very popular "cat" word at the time, however the story that goes behind it, is that the Myons originally wanted to have a name that represented the very pinnacle of particle physics, so chose Muon, but unfortunately at the name registration office, Pappy mispelled Muon to Myon, and it kind of stuck (the Myons are all Dyslexic like their derpy human).
Ely Myon - Ely is short for Elysia from the Greek Pedion Elysion, the name of the heavenly fields of Elysia, a section of the Underworld mentioned in Greek mythology. The meaning behind this name may have developed from lightning-struck, which seemed appropriate for a super cute elementalist. Loves flowers and the usual things that you would expect.
Yuffi Myon - From the Ancient greek Euphe, and translates to Happiness :3. Nothing makes Yuffi happier than chopping and bashing and generally being the shiniest glowy asura out there. Not a very complex individual as a result...
Bikket - Nothing profound here, Bikket was adopted by Kal some time ago and found as a progeny in a basket outside the house in Divinities Reach with a packet of digestive biscuits for food. When Kal asked "what shall I call you", Bikkets first words were "Bikket", waving a digestive around. The name stuck. You can tell Bikket is adopted, because hes actually good at academic stuffs.
Tokki Myon - The supermodel of the Myon family, and with ears like that it's no wonder! Named after the Korean word for Rabbit, due to her very long bunny like ears and love of animals (hence why shes a ranger). Has an obsession with the colour Orange. Available for photoshoots.
Scwuffy Myon - Named because she always looked like she'd arrived having been dragged through a hedge backwards. As a necromancer, she likes spoopy things and tends to look a bit scruffy still, has an addiction to Halloween and Snax, of which she hoards many in her magical luggage with teeth. Many times accused of stealing snax from other people, however its only really borrowing, they didn't want the snax anyway, thats why they were lying there and not eaten. Elys twin sister, albeit a bit naughtier... (alot).
Twubblez - Also adopted, this time found in Kals kitchen in DR, looking through the fridge. "This one looks like trouble", "I'm not twubblez, im a secret agent!". Due to the general hate for thieves in GW2 (deservedly), Twubbles is a Daredevil and secret agent (not a thief), as well as being a ladies man. Has his own theme -
www.youtube.com/watch?v=XG-VChTYfOkPappy Myon - Recently returned from his travels, the absent minded Pappy is the father of the Myons, doesn't live with his offspring however, because he values his hair (which is falling out and slowly going grey). Very absent minded, so absent minded in fact, he completely forgot he had a family and went on his mist excursion for longer than intended. Possibly related to Rhunnid somehow, however this has not been proven, doesnt matter to the other Myons, who refer to Rhunnid as "Uncle Rhunnid", whether he likes it or not.
Old Ulfrik - Old friend of the family, old. Bad back, caused by carrying around all the crap. Grumpy sod, like most Norn.
Oleraecea - New addition, the name is from the Latin for "potherb", specifically this is used for Brassica Oleracea, otherwise known as "The Wild Cabbage".
And thats the whole gang :3
