Congrats to Moitjuh on her first VG kill this evening. I believe we have 14 people who now have a kill. Myself, Rugi, Chris, John, Paul, Aly, Lucid, Malakai, Fluf, Moitjuh, Spuzz, Serhend, Elaign and Estrella
For next week some of us will try to PUG a Vale Guardian before we as a guild run. This will allow us to go to Gorseval instantly instead of having to complete a Vale Guardian before. The idea behind this is we get a full 2 hours to try Gorseval properly. If you want to help us with this; Monday onwards, PUG a Vale Guardian and get it killed, bonus points if you do the event afterwards so we can just get straight to it.

Yeah that was a much better Gorseval, feels like it will be more of an "When" now rather than "If".
Something I've mentioned to a few afterwards, the final phase where things got a bit messy is just due to lack of experience. I remember a lot of us doing the exact same thing during Vale Guardian the first few times we got to the final phase. But now when we complete a VG and we get the horrible green circle behind in a lit up area everyone is a pro, gets on with it, heals through and carries on. Also we need to shout out stuff more, I'm just as guilty here as anyone else. We've got a fair few hours under our belts now, we know what the dodge animation is, we know Gorseval raises both arms when we're about to go into a CC phase. Let's give Rugi a hand with the call outs.
Overall though, as a group we seemed to have a much better DPS check and it seemed mainly down to people actually getting some decent rotations in. I feel pretty confident we'll get a kill, sooner rather than later.
As an aside, I placed a note in the guild message of the day which I know you all read religiously. For those of you who happened to miss it, I know people are having issues getting hold of PUG raids to get more experience raiding, so with that in mind I'm proposing a 2nd day for PvE raiding. I spoke to some of the Raiders this evening and the consensus was that a mid afternoon start on a Sunday might work. We won't raid this Sunday but we will try the week after, which will be 4th September. We'll start around 3pm BST. The idea is to give more people opportunities to raid and for those who enjoy raiding to get more experience. This is a provisional addition, if it proves to be popular with you all or it needs tweaking we can make it a permanent fixture in the weeks schedule. Let me know what you think.
Edit : One thing I forgot to mention, very professional job on the VG kill this week, if we kill VG like this every week I have no issue with doing it.

1 Frikkin Percent. You guys better kill the cunt on Sunday. On a brighter note though it was another good VG kill, dare I say we are getting the hang of that one?

I've updated the roster sheet to include links to builds and other relevant raid information. Feel free to add to these and add notes to the builds, I don't play them all so having some notes about specific nuances would be useful. I've added some for Chronotank and Tempest already. Congrats to Levi on getting his first VG kill tonight.
We also got our first gold trophy as a guild. The Gold Vale Guardian trophy is in the walk of fame in the Guild Hall. South of the central WP.

Sunday raiding came through for us! Congrats to Paul, Chris, John, Aly, Malakai (and me) for their first Gorseval kills. Thanks to Vio and the 3 PUGs who joined us and helped us learn some of Sabetha also. It was a really nice Gorseval kill and we had a slightly modified lineup to the norm, John was on Condi Druid and Aly switched to Healing Druid.
